My First Publicly Framed Digital Drawing

Do you draw? If so what do you draw? Comment below. I love drawing, especially doodling. Apart from that, I like to draw clipart and cartoon. It is like pass-time for me. Well, you might have guessed that my favourite subject is art. You are certainly right about that! So, today I am writing to share a little experience called “My First publicly framed digital drawing”.

It all started on a sunny day when I was dancing (don’t ask me why I was dancing) and then my mom’s footsteps. Well, time to put a full stop to the dancing business. My mom walked into the room. She said,’ Our dance sir (Mr Sri Kalakshetra Unni Krishnan) is asking if you can draw all the mudras (hand gestures in Bharatanatyam) to frame on the wall. Listeners, try to take a few seconds to guess what I said. I said yes! The ones who got it correct, let me give you a virtual Hi-five👋(click the hand). Then I got my iPad and opened the Autodesk Sketchbook app (it is my favourite art app) and started. I took a picture from google with all the mudras and started drawing. I finished it and showed it to my art sir who said it was very pixilated and told me to use another app called vectornator. So, I started drawing again.

Then I finished one by one getting the corrections and moving on and my mom had helped me with the corrections too. I got to the frame but, according to my art sir’s analysis, I had used the wrong tool and had to draw all over again. So, I started again.

This time, I had done it and only had to make minor changes, Which took a few days, and I had put them in the frames, I only had to give it to the printing company! Oh! I am so excited! We are going to give them in a pen drive and mail/WeTransfer. Well before that, I created my logo.

After that, I had to do what had to be done give it for printing. So yeah, I gave it and then a few days later, all of them came as a print and 2 were hung. But sadly that was not the day I had my dance class. So my sir sent it to me using WhatsApp, I am sure you all know what that is. After that, another few days later, all of them were framed. When I saw them, I saw what was vector output and why it is better than pixels. It was nice!!

So, here is the final output;:;:;:;:;

Thank You Unni Mash for giving me this opportunity to draw and even frame the mudras. I had a very unique experience. Thank You everyone for encouraging me to complete this! Thank You!!
